The story of Dutch top-DJ Marco V (1967), is that of the typical self made DJ who had to wait a long time before well deserved stardom came to him. Marco Verkuylen started to spin records at the age of 14. Three years later, the pitch-control was introduced and Marco could have been very likely the first one to experiment with it. Although Marco was among the first to discover the joy of spinning, it took him a long time before he was able to make a living with his DJ skills. This was mainly caused by the fact that he came from a small country town, far away from the spotlights and the big clubs. But in 1996 he was asked to become the resident of the biggest club in Eindhoven and took this opportunity with both hands. It was soon known that this little man had every bit of talent to become a big DJ as his residency night became the best Friday night from all clubs in Holland Shortly after he started his residency he began to work on his first productions and in the many years to follow he showed that also this is in his blood.After meeting is producing companion Benjamin on one of his residency nights they got together in they got in studio to set course to many successful releases. They showed to be capable of making a very wide range of music, but after a few years they decided to start making music they loved and played their selves. With the release of his 3 release counting project V.ision he caused a stir around the globe and soon stardom would come. His sound became popular in no time with the result of being asked to be headlining 2 of the biggest indoor events in Holland, Innercity at the Amsterdam RAI (40.000 people) and Sensation at the Amsterdam ArenA (50.000 people). He was even asked to mix and compile the best selling compilation 'Live at Innercity'. In his home country Holland Marco is currently one of the biggest DJ names around and his sound is getting more and more popular each day. His music style is best described as a mixture between the by the English so-called Wet 'n Hard and, as the Dutch audience rather describe it, the V sound! Marco's skills are set to go Global as the request for the sought after V.ision project releases is still massive from all over the world!
